Description:SOJOURN: Journal of Social Issues in Southeast Asiais an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of social and cultural issues in Southeast Asia. Empirical and theoretical research articles are published with a view to promoting and disseminating scholarship in and on the region. Areas of special concern are ethnicity, religion, urbanization, migration, and development. SOJOURN is published thrice a year, in March, July and November. The journal includes articles, research notes and comments, and book reviews. SOJOURN is on the list of the 100+ most important periodicals in Asian studies selected by the Association for Asian Studies for indexing.
