The Philippine Journal of Librarianship and Information Studies (PhJLIS) continues the work of the Journal of Philippine Librarianship (JPL), beginning with vol. 39, no. 1. This semi-annual refereed academic journal publishes articles discussing issues and developments from all fields in the area of librarianship and information studies. The first issue of the journal was released in 1968, and starting from 2019, it assumed its current name.
