Description:The Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal publishes three times a year on legal issues and developments in jurisdictions bordering the Pacific Ocean. Since its founding by Professor Dan Fenno Henderson in 1990, the Journal has featured articles by internationally acclaimed legal scholars on topics such as constitutional law, human rights, corporate governance, antitrust, intellectual property, and environmental law.
The Journal is considered the foremost source of legal scholarship on the Pacific Rim, and has received more citing references than any other legal journal focusing on this region. Traditionally, our geographic scope was limited to East Asia, Southeast Asia, Russia, and Oceania. Articles involving Central American and South American nations are also acceptable as long as there is a strong connection to the Pacific Rim region as a whole. International waters off Pacific Rim countries are included within our geographic scope.
