Created in 1999 by IRSEA (now IrAsia UMR 7306), Moussons cover the entire Southeast Asian region as well as surrounding areas. A comparative and interdisciplinary review, it focuses on all the social sciences (particularly anthropology, sociology and contemporary history). Moussons publishes twice a year articles, reviews on recent books, review articles and note on subjects of specific interest, in either English or French. The journal has an international editorial board.
